Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets: Basilisk, Tom Riddle and Dobby |
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets begins with Harry facing a restrictive summer at the Dursleys' house, only to be dramatically rescued by Ron Weasley and his brothers in a flying car. His second year at Hogwarts is soon overshadowed by a series of chilling events: messages written in blood appear on the walls, warning that the Chamber of Secrets has been opened and the "Heir of Slytherin" has returned to purge the school of Muggle-born students.
As students are found petrified, panic spreads, and the Ministry of Magic appoints the narcissistic Gilderoy Lockhart as the new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher. With the help of Ron and Hermione, Harry begins to investigate the attacks, discovering a mysterious diary that once belonged to a student named Tom Riddle. This diary holds the key to the Chamber and reveals the true identity of the monster within: the deadly Basilisk. Harry must confront the memory of Lord Voldemort, save Ron's sister Ginny, and prove that Hagrid is innocent, all while unraveling the secrets of Salazar Slytherin's dark legacy.
